I'm a 1911 & 911 lover........not a collector.......just a shooter and a driver!
Colt 1911 Combat Commander 9mm
A pistol I’ve wanted for many years and was now able to buy since we moved from CA to TX three months ago. The Commander length pistols are my guns if choice since you can come up on target a bit quicker than with a 5” pistol.

Thank you, Sir, for sharing your story. It will definitely create awareness to those who viewed this video. GOD bless!
Just remember why you left California , and don’t vote here like a Californian votes. Seems like people move out of California then vote for the same shit they ran away from.
Enjoyed your video and subscribed. Love my 2019 991.2 4 gts! I'm retired too and driving the heck outta mine. Just passed 50k.
What is that laser again? Where to buy it
Good video. My Raptor's trigger was so sharp that it also took skin of my finger every time I shot more than a few mags... I still liked the trigger however, so I just took some fine grit paper and sanded it down a bit.
Those mags are the best.
❤❤❤
Only 1911? Lol
Anyone know what the spring weight is for the Wilson flat wire spring. My new Kimber Raptor ii pro had a spring that takes a gorilla to rack the slide…and I’m 6’ 2” 180 pounds.
Hi! I went to a regular guide rod that’s standard,it’s longer than yours and if any one would try a regular guide rod it has to be a tapered tip to exit the spring bushing underneath the barrel ! It captures the spring better than a small guide rod ! But I guess it’s better than using that tool that actually mars the spring bushing on the front of it😊🇺🇸
I got a rechargeable air compressor that also can jump start a car or recharge a phone or similar electronic device. It was a Christmas gift about 6 or 7 years ago and surprisingly still works. I use it about every 2 weeks or as needed to check my tires pressure / inflation. I've used the jump start feature many times for myself and others. It's a box-shaped thing about the width and 1/2 the height of a basketball. A very handy thing to have. One of the best most practical gifts I've received.
Beautiful car with nice extras matching to the car. Hope you still enjoy your 911. Regards from Germany
Thanks for the video. I'm considering a LW Commander in 45, like your pro carry II, or possibly a Ruger SR1911 or Springfield Ronin. I do think about the feed ramp in these aluminum frame pistols. How did Kimber integrate that feature on this aluminum frame model? Has it held up over time? Thanks!
Every other word from You is UM UM UM. Very annoying and I turned you off. Get a script together and go from there.
Can you put a link to what you bought? I want to switch my Springfield Champion Operator from the FLGR to a GI guide rod, but I can’t find anything for a 4 inch barrel.
How does this current bluing hold up? Especially with holstering and ongoing shooting practice?
Special Forces Engineering Sgt. ?
Love your car. Do you still own it? I would like to buy the car.
I really like your Porsche and the specifikation. The color is so nice and with that wheels it is perfect. If you do another video please show a little more of the graphite blue interior. I like when the spec is done from your own perspective . There is enough of grey and black Porsche. I would like to buy your car when you go for another one. But I live in Sweden 😊
As predicted, what everyone did two years ago was a completely pointless hoax that had absolutely nothing to do with sCiEnCe. I hope you can move on from that and enjoy your life without being told what you can or cannot do. Moving to Texas hopefully helped with that! #HTown for me
Great video! Things haven't changed a bit here in CA have they? In fact have gotten 1000 x worse! God bless you wherever you end up, Tenn or maybe Florida... 😇🙏🏻
Thanks! Those will be nice on my Kimber target 38 Super. Come to Florida, the "Gunshine State"
Mine was a pretty snug fit but I promise it fit my Kimber pro raptor 2 with a small amount of force. After a few disassembles it fit really well.
Nice video. However, whenever you pick up a weapon, it should be cleared and the barrel checked for one in the pipe. While I am sure you did this off camera, it still helps others understand the proper way to handle a firearm. Just sayin!
Beautiful color paint and beautiful leather inside. I literally just purchased that same 911 same year CPO with 4K miles.
I left CA behind. I now have freedom in AL.
got mine last Friday took it out to shoot Saturday out of the 300 rounds I shot I had 40+ Failures to extract had to send it back to kimber Sunday don't expect to be getting it back anytime soon they said 2-3 months and it could even take longer
I've went through SOOOO many different gun care products until I finally came across wilson combat cleaning/care products. It's so hard to find a good solvent that's strong but not overly so. I believe hoppes standard, original solvent is far too strong for anything non-barrel related and has been proven to actually degrade many gun metals at a molecular structure which drastically increases wear and the aging process. When it comes to lubricant the same story applies. Went through TONS of different dedicated lubricants and it was always either too thin, burnt off too quickly, was too thick which caused more necessary cleaning. The best I found was Lucas heavy-duty oil which was nice but not wilson combat nice.... Finally a buddy introduced me to Wilson combat products... Haven't looked back since! I absolutely LOVE their dedicated lubricant for ALL of my firearms, especially my AR's. It's the perfect consistency for a bcg yet still has the proper viscosity for my all metal pistols from my Walther match series pistols to my kimber & Springfield 1911s. Their dedicated carbon cleaner is of perfect strength as well for both barrel, bore and any other part of your firearm and is safe enough to use on my glocks & m&p's polymer lowers. When it comes to copper in the barrel I'm a strong believer that copper deposits are a GOOD thing and should be left in the barrel of most firearms, except for your extremely high accuracy type rifles that are designed AROUND the barrel. For everything else, the copper fouling will actually help fill in all the microscopic imperfections in your rifling for both pistols and semi-automatic-rifles, giving you a more consistent and tighter zero. Wilson's carbon cleaner eliminates all filth within the firearm and cuts down all the immediate surface fouling from copper and carbon but isn't so strong that it sinks into the rifling. I've made sure of this through my zeroing process over multiple ar, 22lr, ar10s, 9s and many longer range pistols and revolvers. Love love love their products and wish I found them YEARS ago.
Blah, blah, blah … I got 2 words for you bro : Sig P226
Or one: shit
@@jadslash what ?
straight up the P226 is thee worst handgun ive ever owned, shot and owned over 10+ handguns, none as atrociously inaccurate as the sig P226.
@@n.b.8616 ive had the exact opposite experience . both of my p226 pistols that were made in west germany are the most reliable and accurate pistols that i have ever owned.
Hello! I’ve took your idea which is great! I took it a little further. I used a standard 1911 guide rod which is a little longer! Both yours and yours which looks shorter? Correct me if I’m wrong? But I did try the shorter guide rod. They both work great😊Glad I had seen your video😊 Your a truely a great🇺🇸American
Thanks for the recommend on sights - and I like the rant! Living in Nevada i know all to well how ridiculous CA is... I hope you moved. Cheers
+100 for moving to Texas from Commiefornia! You would love it down here in Arizona as well!
🙄 really?
Ready to sell it?
Sadly, I think he did have to sell it because of a terminal illness.

@@carreralicious Awful. Very sorry to hear that.
how you know this? @@carreralicious
I know I'm late to the party but wanted to chime in. In my humble opinion, the way you have it badged looks MUCH cleaner than if it had Carrera next to it. And, whether it's a base model or a GT3, as they said in Risky Business: Porsche, there is no substitute! lol..
Try for ur wife arthritis, chlorine dioxide, I'm not a doctor butt it works for me.
Beautiful car.
How can you only own one 1911….. When you get to Texas you will need to buy 4 or 5 New 1911’s. I think I have over 20 and my son has 7 or 8. They are sooo much fun. Please post new content on the 1911 pick ups in Texas. We have the Biggest Gun Channel in Oregon…. But moving to Texas sounds wonderful. :) Take Care Sir! 🤠👍👏🇺🇸⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ B9USA Sr.
I never quite understand the manufacter refusing to send some sample guns to the state of CA. There are a lot of gun owners here want to buy, so send them 3 guns what 6K? so what you will sell a ton. Anyways everything is f ed up here.
That colt combat commander you have is not the original colt combat commander
Haha, group guys always have nice rides.
I watched this video because I am interested in this gun, as a man, wish he hadn't added at the end, if you have a wife or girlfriend, this is a good gun for her. I feel a little emasculated.
What happened with your thumb?
Welcome 🙏 to Texas ❤️
I’m in CA and I feel your pain. That commander looks pretty sweet. Especially in 9mm I had to have a 45 rebuilt into a 9mm because of CA BS.
How do you change a 1911 from .45 to 9mm, besides changing the barrel and magazine?
I tried the XS Big Dot Sigjts and did not like them . Could not get use to their alignment. I still have them if interested in a trade ?
Your thumb safety is not fit perfectly, nothing wrong with it , other than its an assembly line gun . Look at the wilson low lever tactical TS . Or take it to a COMPONENT gunsmith, he or she can modify your stock lever and fit it properly so you have that little snick on and off . Great weapon BTW. P. S. Personally like the way the WC safety works in the gun better than the colt TS
I'm looking for a cleaner that I can use without latex gloves.
I was looking for a video that showed how to remove the sight. This was just a waste of time.
Why not show your smooth trigger installation in a video named smooth trigger installation. For fucks sake.
